UX & Design work process
1. Product definitions
Gather details about the business requirements for the project and the scope of the project from stakeholders.
2. Success criteria
Map the goals and key performance indicators of the product or feature.
3. Preliminary research
Answer open questions and collect insights on the personas and use cases for the product. Use methods as seen on Research Guidelines.
4. UX strategy
Define a strategy to accomplish the product goals while catering to users' needs.
5. Use cases
Map the reasons, goals and needs for users to use the product by frequency of use, in order to identify main usage patterns.
6. Information Architecture (IA)
Create a diagram of the product's overall structure by segmenting the data and functionality into screens and states.
7. Concept testing
Measure different design solutions with real users in order to choose the right direction.
8. Detailed design
Test concepts, select a final design concept and define behaviour, appearance and logic.
9. Visual and motion
apply the visual/motion layer derived from the established design system, to achieve consistency across all features and touch-points of the service/product.
10. Copywriting
Define the interface text based on myCWT's tone of voice, which works in-line with the design.
11. Development guidance
Create the necessary guidelines and materials for the development of the product and collaborate with the development teams to provide assistance and support to follow the design.
12. Usage evaluation
Collect usage data and user feedback to make sure the product meets its business goals and the users' needs and expectations.
13. Iteration
Constantly iterate and evolve the service according to feedback and changing expectations of the users, and the impact on key performance indicators.
