Forever changed by the pandemic, professional events have undergone a huge transformation. But in 2021, event software itself, the tools companies used to put on those experiences, hadn’t changed much at all. As leaders in the event management software space, we at Bizzabo knew it was time to shake things up. It was time to create a new category of event software that delivered compelling experiences by putting people at the center.

As the the SVP of experience and design, I worked collaboratively with the CMO to redesign Bizzabo’s brand so it befit a category leader. We started with a line that summed up the new ethos: “More human events, for more human humans.” We let this ethos guide every decision on the new brand. The effect is a visual system that playfully calls out to event leaders to bring a new level of joy and energy to professional events.

The Virtual Venue is a digital platform encapsulating the entire event experience life cycle. It is a personalized environment for Attendees, Exhibitors, Speakers, Moderators, Producers and Event Leaders to achieve their respective goals in the new hybrid reality.

Combining the magic of in-person experience with the connectivity and reach that online provides, the Venue offers limitless opportunities for creating and cherishing memorable moments.

The Virtual Venue is adjustable to the participants location, context and device, maximizing Learning and Connecting with others.

I want Bizzabo's product videos to resonate and that is why it should be about more than just the product. It should be about the problem, the solution, the experience, and the larger vision of what we are trying to build. As the SVP of experience and design, my goal is to convey a consistent brand message across all channels; product, service and marketing material.

Brand and design are critical functions for the business, especially when you want to build awareness and demonstrate a certain tone, like in Bizzabo, where we build a strong brand within the events industry.

As part of the SVP Experience & Design role, I also lead the Brand Design team who builds a cohesive vision for the entire business, whilst it maintains and evolves this brand as the business progresses.

Bizzabo Event Experience OS is a platform for creating immersive in-person, virtual, and hybrid experiences — a data-rich open platform that allows Event Experience Leaders to manage events, engage audiences, activate communities, and deliver powerful business outcomes.

Event planner is the 6th most stressful job in the world. Many events are short occurrences that are the culmination of months of meticulous planning. Everything, from the lighting and decorations to the seating arrangements and entertainment program, is the result of an event planner's hard work. Event planners who use Bizzabo's platform, have their own lingo, so the brand design team used it to create some cool T-shirts, especially for them.

A platform that automates all of the quality control processes and procedures that are required by the IVDR regulations for genetic testing labs in Europe. The platform is also capable of establishing an entire genetic testing ecosystem with the ability to provide automated clinical analysis and act as a broker of test sales – in addition to automatically ensuring improved genetic testing quality.

RoomIt is a division of CWT, a long-standing leader in business travel. RoomIt provides travelers with the rooms, rates, amenities, and loyalty programs they want; while helping organizations control their budget and improve travel oversight.

Personas are a representation of the different user types that might use your product, and they exist to help you better understand your users’ needs, experiences, behaviors and goals. Personas will help you identify the user you’re designing for and recognise that different people have different needs and expectations.

As myCWT users are compiled of both travelers and Travel Arrangers, the myCWT personas are distributed into 3 types. These personas are based on qualitative and quantitative user research and represent different types of myCWT users with different needs and concerns.

Corporate branded stationary for a hackathon event

myCWT is a service delivered to its users through multiple channels such as mobile, web, chat, email and off-line travel counselors. In order to make this service seamless, regardless the touch point - we aimed to design and build the counselors’ facing tools to empower them to deliver the best service for our travelers.

Data and applications will be available for all the relevant actors in the future ecosystem: Internet of Things, Virtual Assistants, Smart Walls - enabling seamless integration of services, bringing the User Experience to a whole other level.

The infographics are based on a research we conducted in Q3 2019. We used an online survey with 594 business travelers who matched our experienced corporate traveler persona.

Our survey revealed that experienced travelers are more likely to book flights on mobile. We assume that booking on mobile requires a level of confidence that is acquired with some experience in travel. The fact that more experienced travelers book on mobile has an effect on the type of flights that are being booked on this channel. Those travelers often book higher-classed flights and book closer to the time of travel. Therefore, the flights booked on mobile tend to be more expensive than those booked on a non-mobile device such as a desktop.

A set of branded materials and give aways for company events

Perion is a unified brand that conveys qualities of life, movement and growth. The Perion master brand bestows its identity upon its sub-brands in name and design framework.

Aggregated and programmatic mobile media buying measurement analysis and optimization tool all from a single dashboard.

A synthetic representation that describes step-by-step how a customers interacts with our service. The process is mapped from the customer’s perspective, describing what happens at each stage of the interaction, what touch-points are involved, what obstacles and barriers they may encounter, what emotions they may feel during the user journey, and what opportunities to improve the customer's experience can be found.

A set of core UX principles which strive to create digital experiences that are valued by the company end users. The principles were spread among the product, GUI and UX designers in Perion world wide and made the company products more constant, delightful and user friendly.

Each principle is a case study based on the one of the company's products, showing good and bad example.

Guardius is a free widget for desktop users, it draws upon the wisdom of the crowd to enhance internet protection and speed.

Based on the wisdom of the crowd, a concept that takes into account the collective opinion of a group of individuals, Guardius by Perion enables users to reclaim their browser speed with an incredibly easy-to-use utility that helps them understand which add-ons and extensions are slowing down their browser and are most often disabled by others, providing additional input regarding possibly unwanted add-ons.
